The Dominican Family is a big family of thousands of followers of Saint Dominic, all sharing his same Spirit and Charism of Preaching. Together we form a big tree with many branches. The Fundamental Constitution of the Order recognized that "The Dominican family is composed of clerical and cooperator brothers, nuns, sisters, members of secular institutes, and fraternities of priests and laity." (LCO. I, IX)
